How do PurGrip hex slot implant drivers work?

The working end of the PurGrip hex slot implant driver tool incorporates a unique “spring clip” design feature  with a solid hex core at the very tip of the driver shaft. This unique patented design allows for the “decoupling” of the gripping action from the torqueing action of the PurGrip hex slot implant driver tool and prevents the spring clip feature from losing its “spring” grip each time you use it.

Does the length or diameter of the screw you want to place or remove matter?

No. The only dimension that matters is the size of the diameter hex slot of the head of the screw. The current PurGrip hex slot implant driver tools are made to grip screw head hex slots of  1.27mmØ.

What is the maximum torque and speed (RPM) for PurGrip hex slot implant driver use?

Do not exceed 25 Ncm torque (for both hand and rotary PurGrip tools) and 80 RPM (for rotary PurGrip tool only). If you exceed the recommended torque force you can permanently damage the PurGrip hex slot implant driver tool. Discard PurGrip hex slot implant driver tool if damaged.

If I want to tighten screw to more than 25Ncm torque what should I do?

When it is fully engaged in the hex slot, you will hear a soft “click” sound that indicates the “spring clip” feature of the PurGrip hex slot implant driver tool is fully engaged and gripping the internal walls of the screw head’s hex slot.
